CHINA FRICTION & SEALING MATERIAL ASSOCIATION, abbreviated as CFSMA，was established with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and is subject to the business guidance and supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is a non-profit 4A-level national industry organization voluntarily formed by the main body and related industry enterprises and institutions and individuals with significant influence in the industry. It is an independent legal person with a registered capital of 2 million yuan. 

The association has more than 700 member units, and has gathered a group of entrepreneurs with rich business management experience and experts and professors representing the national level. At the same time, it has established extensive contacts with domestic related industries and foreign counterparts.

The leading products in this industry, friction and sealing materials, are indispensable supporting materials used in automobiles, trains, airplanes, machinery, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, aerospace and building materials. Because of their importance and particularity, they are one of the few industrial products that the state implements production license management.
